Get Involved! It's fun and easy to do. Everyone can get involved, whether they live on Long Island or not. All you have to do reuse, reduce, recycle, but most importantly, you must RETHINK. We would love to help find ways that you can get involved. If you need help, send us a message through the Share button and we'll get back to you. Maybe we'll even post your question on the website and others will be able to help as well. 

Getting Involved is all about looking at the world differently and thinking about your environment. Make your environment the way you want it to be. The Long Island Go Green Campaign's golden rule. Treat your environment the way you want to be treated. If you don't like litter everywhere, change it! You have the power. You have our support and encouragement. So what are you waiting for? Get Involved!

Educate others

Education is the first step to great idea. Whether that means going to school, questioning things, or reading the back of your cereal box, the more you are educated, the more you can do. Knowledge is power. Teach others. Educate them on this important topic. Talk to them about reusing, reducing, recycling, and rethinking. The more people are educated, the more we can grow as a people. How are we supposed to know how to solve a problem, if we don't know what the problem is? What we are doing to the Earth, unfortunately is a problem, but we wont know how to fix this problem unless we learn about the various details of this problem. How did it occur? How did we attempt to solve it? What were our failures? Our triumphs? How long has this been going on?
